what upgrades can one do with the 06 Qx can the 08 grill fit the 06?

there are threads on here from what others have done, maybe worth some time to look around and get ideas. to answer your question, the 06 and 08 qx are the same first gen qx so grile swap should be easy. there are aftermarket grilles you can use as well.
