Scanning Q50 Hybrid FWD 2014 my OBD scanner found P2859 error code:
P2859 Code Clutch 'A' Pressure Disengagement Performance
Vehicle has 107k miles on dash.
I don`t know about other symptoms since vehicle in parked on auction and you can not drive it. It moves 2 feet back and forth with no issues, engine works well. Vehicle does not have service records after 12k miles but it is in good shape, no leaks under the hood or under the vehicle. I guess transition fluid was never changed there.
I did lot of searching bud didn't find a lot. I saw local thread which ended 2 year ago where owner wrote about same vehicle and same error code. Author stopped answering so it was not clear what was the outcome in his case.
Does this model has dual clutch or freewheel?
Is it a case that clutch needs replacement at this millage or and issue is hiding somewhere else?
Any ideas comment are welcome.
