Poor down/up shift

Guys i had noticed this before but I just installed the Borla exhaust system and notice it even more because i can hear it. It seems tht my Q in some gears either holds on the gear too long or really short..going to dealership to get oil change should i ask them to reset ECU?

In some gears the throttle seems to have lag in it and some gears seems very short, frustrating because now i hear it.

Any other suggestions i could tell dealership so they can try and mitigate?

You may want to ask the service advisor if their is a software update for this. My son's vehicle needed one. Although he did not have an after market exhaust system, only the OEM one.

i posted the ECM reset procedures elsewhere on this forum. i betcha doing that will make the Q much more responsive. also do the idle air and other procedures.

Sooooo,dropped off truck. I told them how in higher gears it feels like it gets stuck in-between 1500 and 2000 rpms. Tech drove ot and confirmed than they had master tech drive and he thinks that it is skipping 4 th gear. No codes. So needless to say i drove home in a new Q50. They are going to inspect some more, just happy they acknowledged problem.
