Hey folks, didn't see a for sale section so I'm posting this up under this section. If this is wrong, please let me know and I will take this down.

Anyway, I've got a set of OEM headlights for sale for an I30. These are the xenon headlights with the ballasts and bulbs. I wet sanded these through 3 grits ( 800 up to 2000 ), then buffed them through 2 stages to bring them back to a like new finish. One headlight has some minor interior micro stress cracks that you only see if you're on top of the car and looking for it. I've got a good DSLR and managed to focus right in on just them to exxagerate what they look like. After wet sanding and buffing, I them opened up the headlights, removed the amber marker lenses and then sealed them back up.

Price on these is $250 plus $50 shipping in the continental US or Canada. Any questions, just ask or msg me.

Damn I would sooo buy these. Because I want to do a retrofit on them. But 300 for everything. Wish you could split the headlights and ballasts. GLWS. Maybe I might grab these if I have the funds

Wow, I didn't realize the thread had actually gotten posted. I kept checking, and it hadn't shown up a few days later so I posted them on ebay. They sold in less than 24 hours for $350.

I am in the process of making the molds to produce clear the smoked front side markers for the I30, they should be available in about a week.

Thanks again for the interest.

Dang!! ahah ic ic. Yeah i just looked yesterday and then I saw this. Cuz im hoping to do the retrofit on those headlights once I get an extra pair. I had just got done with my '96 retrofits on cefiro housings.

I've been doing it for years, it takes a little practice. I've tried to help people online and a lot of broken their headlight lenses, so try at your own risk. If you follow the steps, take your time and work methodically,.. it really isn't too bad.

PREAHEAT !!! your oven to 170F. Once it is at temperature, stick a headlight in for about 10-15 minutes. Remove the headlights, and then use a couple flat head screwdrivers to pry the lens free from the housing. Just go slow, and if its not going,... place it back into the oven for another 5-10 minutes. The whole key is NOT to force it too hard. When the sealant is at the right temperature,.. it WILL come loose with only moderate force being required. Once your lens is off,.. remove the amber. Reheat everything, ( and I also apply a bead of silicone ),.. then put it back together.

ON a side note, I have finally finished making the molds for front side markers for the I30, I35 as well. They are available in clear, light smoke, dark smoke, smoked red, red, on white, silver or black housings. Here is a pic of a set of clear/whites. They really finish up the clean look on the front of these cars.

Hello, the headlights are sold. They can be pretty easily installed yourself though if you pick up another set. If you are talking about the side markers, then yes those are also easily installed by yourself.
