I just purchased a used 2012 Infiniti QX 56 an noticed there is no USB Port located as indicated in the Owner's Manual. There is a black hole. It appears from other posts that these were standard in 2011 models and above. Why is mine missing? Can I get one from somewhere and install? Anyone know how to do this? Thanks - Jerry

ive a 2012 all trim options and the port is there. if your usb port is not there, you need to take it back and get another vehicle.
i THINK all 2011+ qxs have the usb port standard? best to get your VIN and call into an infiniti service center. they will tell you for sure if your model has a usb port.
what is your trim level? did you purchase from an infiniti/nissan dealer or carmax/other dealer, etc?

Lol... Not sure it's worth taking the vehicle back.

FYI... I called a local dealer and he said, in fact, all 2012 QX 56's have USB Ports. So mine was either removed by the previous owner, or is down in the cavity somewhere. Now what?

Well...you have two free options...first is to take it back to the dealer you bought it from and have them look for it. The second is to take apart the console and see if somehow it got pushed down in the hole.
The last option would be to take it to an Infiniti dealership and let them look but most likely it won't be free even if it's under warranty...

OP,
take the car back and have them tell you what it should have. yes all models have USB ports. this is in your owners manual and on the infiniti site.
as mentioned, if there is a hole there, it may have fallen through. can't see why the previous owner would REMOVE it.
just take it in. its under warranty. let infiniti take care of it.
