Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Zane and I just bought my first Infiniti from my Aunt. It's a 2001 Infiniti I30. It's been maintained (by the book, down to transmission fluid changes) by my Aunt at Cooper Infiniti of Tulsa (Oklahoma), since she bought it new. (ok, so she has money :D )

It has 160,000 miles, but about 50% of those are highway miles driving from OK to MS where I live, for 10 years to visit the family here.

Interior and Exterior are perfect. Down to the mats and the leather. I'll take more pics later, if need be. Still smells new.

The VQ30DE is one masterpiece of an engine. 160,000 perfectly maintained miles and it purrs and doesn't make a single tick. It pulls at all RPM's. I love it. The transmission shifts are crisp, firm and quick. Love that, too.

The only thing I can find wrong with it is the sway bar bushings are dry rotted and badly worn...they occasionally clunk. $10.99 for a set of Moog bushings and seemingly easy to change.

I've worked on American cars and am new to the Japanese world as far as actually working on them, but I am very familiar with with them. I figure if I can work on a Chrysler, I can work on a Nissan.
