I am new to the forum as I have just purchased a 2007 QX. The pressing question I have now is on an extended warranty. The miles are at 44,800 and two dealers said the price of the warranty is a lot less under 45k so I need to make a decision today/tomorrow.
The 2 choices I have is a 3rd party from Fidelity 3/36 Play 100 ded. It is 2,300. Second option is through the local Infinity dealer and it is the exact same price and term.
The Infinity dealer did say it is the same warranty that came with the car new. So items like nav and radio would be covered. Fidelity said no electronics under theirs which I have found normal.
Infinity warranty has to go to an Infinity dealer and Fidelity can go anywhere that will take it.
So the questions are which one do I go with and do I go with one at all?
I had originally passed on a 2004 because it seemed like they were full of issues.
So do current owners believe from experience that in the next 3 year/36k miles I will exceed $2,300 in repairs?
