Click to expand... This is a common problem with 00-01 Maximas and I30s. Check Maxima.org and search on that site. There are a number of posts regarding this problem.

I fixed with the "folder piece of paper wrapped in electrical tape". That created pressure on the grey box, problem solved. no more sub cut in/out.
