After getting in to a tiny fender bender last October or November my car has made a strange grinding/rotating noise when turned on. In acceleration it goes down (partly due to noise) but when turning right and shifting to third gear from second gear it makes the grinding noise. I took it into a shop a month ago to have the power steering hose/column replaced and an engine mount put on there that broke from the accident, so it may not be urgent... Looking under the hood it comes from around/under the left side of the engine where all the belts are, so it's not a CV joint or whatnot. It's not bad, the car's dealt with it for a long time (about a year), but I'm just curious if anyone has any ideas as to what it could be.
