hi,
so we need more info about your car.
what year?
did you just buy it?
mileage?
if you just bought it, do you have any maintenance records?
are you mechanically inclined?
do you have a code reader?
possible (but not exhaustive):
coil packs
spark plugs
faulty o2 sensors
maf
cats
petrol
if you don't have a code reader, stop by auto zone or a similar shop and ask them to test. they should do it as a courtesy.
once you get the obd codes then you can go from there.
going forward its helpful if you provide as much info as you can to those of us over the internet. just saying misfire does not tell us anything.

Thankyou purchased vehicle 12 20 2000 some vehicle history plugs changed may 2000.vehicle has 160k on it no mention of coil packs.i have scanner.2 codes.p0300 multiple misfires.p0306 #6 misfire.that is all of my codes..I tried changing plug to ngk lkar7b1x 11s. Moved 8 coil to #6 plug and 6 to 8. Seemed to run worse so moved everything back as before now back to normal when I listen to the exhaust you can hear a popping noise.not smooth.but it runs not bad.i have mechanical abilityhi,

Wanted a qx 56 for years.love the look the ride and toys this will. Not get the better of me.thankyou all.
