I'm looking at 2010 M35 with 10K miles on it. The dealer has disclosed it was a manufacture buy back. Over the phone I was told the previous owner said the car jerked at take off. The dealer says the vehicle has been tested for 1,500 miles in all conditions an operates normally. I haven't asked for the exact details of any repairs made. Has anyone had experience with buying a "buy back" car. Should one run from this, or consider it. The asking price is a around 2,500 or so under comparable models.

Thanks

Manufacture buy back will be disclosed on the car fax report,
and will cost you money at time of resale ( poor trade in value ).
You may also have a hard time selling the car when your ready to do so.
Just a few factors to consider.....
