My wife's step dad (88) could not get into the Q and her mom (90) is getting to the point where it getting more difficult for her. And we sure did not want either of them falling while trying to get in or out.

So we traded it today for a new 2014 Cadillac CTS V.

I never in my wildest dream thought I would own/drive a Cadillac, but the thing if really quick and with the suspension set in the Tour mode it rides nice. Switch it to Sport and I believe it handles better than the 2002 C5 Corvette I had. And I know it's a lot quicker than the Corvette.

So I hope all of you really enjoy your Q's because they are one fine SUV.

A Caddy??? You're brave! At $60k +, better off getting a BMW 5 series or an Audi A7/A6... or a lower SUV, such as the BMW X5, Audi Q7, Infiniti QX70, Acura MDX

Good Luck,

Hate to see you go Silverback, I have enjoyed some of your posts over the years. Especially the one where you complained about the hitch cover on the QX,, LOL I doubt you'll be towing anything with a CTS.
We don't have that many 'QX-ers' (new term for those with QX) here due to the QX's exclusivity, so it's a bummer when someone leaves. Hope you enjoyed being on this forum.
I see your reasoning, yeah my parents are getting up there too. That's good you are accommodating to your wife's parents.

Hope you enjoy your new Cadillac.
have a good one
