Just received the truck back after they change the steering rack and sway bar bushing.

Took some time to wash\wax it today. Tomorrow it's back to winter wheels time.... booooh

Here are some pictures, love the way this truck look when clean!

was it easy to remove the side air vents to paint them? What did you use, plasti dip or regular paint?

In fact, I tried to remove them by gently pulling on them but the clips are very tight. So, I used tape and patience to do it correctly.

I used plasti dip paint and plasti dip glossifier on top of it. Been there for a year (front grill also) and no fading.

Thanks. I paid an arm and a leg for the midnight black grille, and would like to tackle the vents which are overly chromey w/o paying someone :)

Lookin good..Ya need to get the front windows tinted 20% to match the factory rear windows. Then take your front headlights and get them custom painted on the inside to get rid of the chrome.

I had my headlights done and tails custom tinted with auto clear coat.

how do u fit that beast into that tiny garage??

It barely fits but it does! 22X14 feet.

I tried to fit a Suburban LTZ before buying the QX and it was clearly to long...

I will like a longer wheelbase truck (31 feet travel trailer) but the wifey wants it to fit the garage...

Thanks. I wanted to get rid of all the chrome but I decide to stop right there. Lots of work if you want it well done.
