key system error

I bought my 2015 q50 3.7 July of 2020. I was never informed it had a remote start until i found out when i was playing around with the key fob. i found out that clicking the lock button three times would remote start the car. Yesterday the remote starter worked perfect. Today i went to use it and it did nothing. When i use the remote start, the cars electronics turn on inside the car, i can hear the fuel pump, then the battery tick, but then the car doesnt start. it then throws a "key system error" light that goes away in 2 seconds. Any ideas? (I already replaced key fob battery and unhooked and reconnected my battery.)

windows need to be up, maybe also parking brake on? idk sounds like an aftermarket system

I bought the 2015 Q50 in November 2022. Love the car. I just tried this and it works! I will let you know tomorrow if it fails...
