We pulled the trigger and traded in the'11 QX56 for '13 JX35. I'm gonna miss that beast:o! The wife got tired of going to the pumps every couple of days; she drove/drives alot playing soccer mom. The JX35 looks like it will suit her well; it's definitely a woman's SUV, IMO. Even Car and Driver said it was. We'll see how it fares with the MPG. Really enjoyed this forum. You guys take care and enjoy the beast! Time to move over to the the JX forum when it comes online.
 
We absolutely love it! IMHO, it's the best "true 7 seater" luxury CUV out there for the money.
 
We have a 2012 QX56 we are talking about trading for a JX. Shortly after buying the ax my wife got a new job where she commutes. So the QX sits in the garage and we purchased a car for her to drive to work. It just doesn't make since to have such a nice SUV that just sets in the garage and never gets used. So we are thinking of trading both of and getting the new JX.

We've had our JX for about 1 1/2 year now and it's been a good family hauler. I've never liked the CVT but the wife doesn't mind; it's her SUV. It's definitely more nimble and easy to park than the QX though I miss that V8. The MPG on the JX is not as advertised, though better than the QX. We are averaging 17mpg (70/30 city/hwy driving). Unless you want/need the V8 power of the QX, I think you'll be happy with the JX.
