Basically I want a full loaded QX56. The 2012 stock number is too low, so I have to go with 2013 for certain color/package combinations.

The best quote I got for a 2013 full loaded one is 8k off MSRP (79,835) = 71,835 which is about 1500 lower than invoice (73,359).

Is it a good deal for 2013?
If yes, Dealer require $500 deposit to get the car. What else I should pay attention before I pull the trigger?
Thanks

That is essentially what I paid for a fully loaded 2013 back in November.

I've heard of peeps getting $10k off about this time. Look up the Trade-in Value for 2013, and offer them that amount. That's how I buy all my cars... I tell the $tealer, this is what the car/truck is gonna cost when I roll it off your lot and thus that's all I'm gonna spend. It dips into their reserves/holdback, but most will accept that number, especially if it's at the end of the quarter/month/model year.

I got my loaded 2013 1/2 for 2k under dealer invoice plus 16k trade for our 2006 QX56 with 96000 miles. Dealer also threw in paint protection and 5 year paint, tire and wheel warranty for free. 1200 option.
