Install of s/s illuminated kick plates?

Hi,

This may be a stupid question, but has anyone installed the stainless steel illuminated kick plates aftermarket?

Is it an easy install? How does the illumination mechanism work?

I'd appreciate some input prior to shelling out any dough!

its a fairly easy install. the plates are wired to the relay that is activated when the doors open.

the instructions that come with it are easy to read and understand. you will have to remove the floor trim finisher on both sides and the kick well finisher to gain access to the relay to tap for power.

I may have more questions when I begin the install, but I won't be purchasing them for a while yet.

im happy to help. i installed mine in my garage by myself. super easy. caveman can do it..
