I have a question about my 1996 infinity j30...on really hot days I think I smell gas or fumes gas....I smell it coming in my vents...but on normal days I smell nothing..I even raise the hood but I smell nothing....I've stopped using the ac....could anybody tell me the problem pls

My gas tank is in the trunk but never smell a thing..could it be my gas cap
