Plugs, wires if equipped, fuel filter, and have a shop perform a Motorvac Service, Clean the throtle plates, check the Oxygen sensor(s) for switching and replace if lazy
The ignition spark is number one in my opinion. The spark plug wires deteriorate including the connections to the spark plugs and ignition coils. So if it's never had a new set of spark plug wires, start there and change the spark plugs too with the original equipment plugs if they need replacing. Make sure the ignition coil tower connections are not corroded and clean with a small wire brush if necessary.
ABOVE ALL: Replace your timing belt every 60,000 miles since you have an "interference" type engine which suffers major damage if the timing belt breaks!!
