Ive got about 150K miles on my I30, and ive been dealing with this issue for months now. What happens is when ive been driving for about 20 minutes or more, or if im in a lot of stop and go traffic, or when the transmission is just hot, the shifting just seems to stop working. I pull off to the side of the road, turn the ignition off, sit there for about 5 minutes, turn it back on and its fine(for only a limited amount of time). First thing I did was had the transmission flushed and replaced the fluids, didnt fix it. Second thing I did was had a diagnostic test ran, which read P207(if i can recall) which indicated the speed sensor(aka revolution sensor), so I had that replaced. When I had that replaced, the check engine light went off for 3 days, drove fine, and on day # 4 check engine light is back on, and its right back to doing the same thing. I drive this car very carefully, for i am older, and did my fast sports car driving when i had a Cobra in my 20's. So, I know im not abusing this car. Someone, PLEASE help me!!
