Rattling issue - dashboard. I have recently changed struts, stabilizer links, bushings and strut mounts but still whenever I pass through a deep hollow the dashboard will rattle so badly that it is unbearable. What could it be? Please advise.
Have you checked under the dashboard for losse componemts i,g wireing looms? To your knowledge has the dashboard ever been removed or does the dashboard show any signs on cosmetic damage i,g scratching or marking? Someone might of put a block of some sort to remove it with. Have also checked for any mechanical compents in the engine compartments because sound can be so deseving. So really it could be a wireing loom as the wireing looms on most infinities and Nissan are so damb thick and heavy. HA. Also Nissans and Infinities are known to have worn door hinges and one of the conciquences is when you go over a bump like you described the whole door can jult as it were. Hope this helps you mate
