Has anyone tried DIY replacing the brake booster in their I35? I was able to unbolt it from the firewall and detach it from the brake pedal. But was unable to pull it out. I removed the master brake cylinder. There still was not enough clearance. There were 4 or 5 metal tubes attached to some component that got in the way. I have no idea what that component is - or how to remove it. Any advice? Thx.
