How to set up Chromecast in Infiniti M37car?

Hello,

I am trying to set up Chromecast 3rd generation in my Infiniti M37. The car itself has a USB slot where I plugged in the USB to HDMI converter:

and the Chromecast is connected with the car lighter and the HDMI converter. This setup looks to work and the phone is casting but I am not able to see anything on the car screen.

Just want to double-check here if this is possible to be achieved without disassembly of the car?
