Have 2011 QX56. Have several grandsons.
What is the working way to connect Android with USB C to the vehicle so that video is displayed on the rear screens?
Yes, do have RCA jacks in the console.
Thank you

Gotcha, thank you. So it's a converter+cable+USB power feed.
I'll give it a try.
Much appreciated.
I'll report back results.

yeah you need a 5v source which is easy in the qx as there is an outlet in back and you plug the composite baseband ( red white yellow) cables into the dvd player in the console. worth the try and you can always return to amazon if it does not give you what you need.

A bit awkward as USB and RCA are in different compartment, but it should work. I have it ordered, should have Tuesday, I'll report back.

yeah thats a logistical issue but you can use an extension cable either for the rca cables or the usb.

It'll be fine. Both RCA and USB appears to be long enough. But the C cable seems to be on the short side, so phone will have to be down on the center console.
lemme hook it up in couple day, I'll follow. Though, to be honest, buying myself lots of headache, with foreseen "I want this, now I want that" requests from the car seat. :ROFLMAO:

Unfortunately, it does not work. Display comes up but it says - no signal. But that does not matter. The very moment I tracked down to the Aux, where display came up, message showed: Video will resume when vehicle is stopped and parking brake applied. The very moment I release parking brake, display turns off. Pretty much, you can't video feed with parking brake disengaged.
Oh well. I tried.

i replied to you at CA. there is a solution for this. many of us did this years ago.

you should be able to see the video in the headrests -- you just cant see it on the front screen whilst the car is in motion/parking brake is not engaged.
