I have a 2011 qx 56 and the sticker on the doors says tires should be 35 front and rear. My tires say max 51 psi.i currently have 47 lbs in the tires, I’m confused I think if I put 35 lbs in the tires they would look flat.help what do you guys use

I currently have Goodyear Fortera SLs (285/45/22) and keep them at 36psi. I accidentally inflated them to 40-42psi one time because of a faulty tire gauge; the ride became dismal, way too harsh and I immediately knew something wasn't right.
Running tires too close to the max psi will not only make the ride harsh, it reduces traction and the center of the treads will wear out prematurely.

Id also recommend to go on the side decal on your inner door. should say 35psi.
the car has an air pressure system. it will beep you when you fill the tires to the proper factory recommended psi.
