Hi. I got 11' Qx56 and need hitch for my trailer. I orderd curt 13188 receiver and today I tried to install that. but it's impossible. I think I got the wrong choice.

please tell me some fittable hitch receiver.....please...

I would imagine factory would be the only option. I didn't even know you could get a 11' QX56 without a factory hitch..

We're only talking hitch mount right? The receiver is standard. I have a hitch from like walmart or NAPA that I used in my Tahoe that fits the QX just fine. I think it's a Reese, can't tell the tag is not on it. Stop at your local auto parts store, ask them if you can take a few out into the parking lot to see if they fit. You can also take measurements with you inside the store but make sure the curved taper on the corners also fits.

Curt lists that part for the 2004-2010 QX56 and their product selector doesn't list anything available for 2011. It looks like you have to hunt around for another brand.

Etrailer doesn't list anything either, so OEM Infiniti might be your only option.

I had a custom hitch made for my Subaru for not much more than bolt on solutions cost. You could also check your area for hitch fabricators if the factory part is expensive.

Hitch

Dude: you should just need the standard 2 inch hitch that slides in the 2 inch receiver on the QX. Then put your hitch pin/lock in to secure it.
Mine was a standard 2 inch receiver.
Like Mikefarm said I think all QX's come with a factory hitch. You looked up under there and removed the little hitch cover? (just so we're all on the same page).
Should be a standard 2 inch box for the receiver. Reece makes many receivers with different tow ratings and drops so your trailer will ride level .
Let us know

thanks

Edmunds says 2011 comes standard with hitch. That would explain the lack of aftermarket options.

Look at Page 9-22 of your owner's manual.

Yea, if you look at the back of your bumper there will be a filler plate about 12" wide, remove that and you'll see the 2" receiver hookup. To remove, using a body clip remover pry out the two black pins from the bottom of the bumper and then using your hand there are two other 'clips' in the middle. It's a pain until you get used to doing it, takes me about 30 seconds now..
