Help identifyng this noise

This noise started about a week ago and is occurring more frequently. The car was running fine but now will now start. It sounds very rough when trying to turn over. Thanks

Ok, so I replaced the starter and the car now starts but still makes this strange "mechanical" sounding noise. It sometimes makes it when I turn the ignition to acc and then it is now consistently making it when I press the accelerator. It also makes the noise when I turn the car off. Any ideas???
