Has anyone tried a Heininger Twistep on the hitch?

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone has ever used a Heininger Twistep on the hitch, either for easier access to cargo area or for easier access into the cargo area for a dog?

I know the Twistep won't work on tailgate trucks, but I've also heard it won't work on some SUV's, so before I order one I thought I'd check if anyone has any experience with it on their QX.
