Has anyone hardwired their radar detector?
In the 08 Highlander traded for the JX35, I spliced into the ground and hot wires in the overhead console following directions provided on the ToyotaNation owners' forum. I am considering the same approach, and I am hoping that someone had already identified the best wires to use. Any details about the wiring will be appreciated.
My other cars are hardwired to the fuse box using a piggy back fuse insert. That approach is not as clean, but I would perfer to avoid any unhappy surprises with the unfamiliar overhead wiring harness.
