Gas prices

I'm in Maryland.. and super is upto $4.42/gal.... which is bull$hit!!

the BIG ISSUE right now is, when I bought the QX, gas was only $2.65 and I knew it's go up.. I figured upto $3.50 and I was OK with it.. but now.. fillups are over $100, and that's if the freckn gas station will let it go up that high.

I'm now thinking of downsizing. As much as I luv the QX, I do too much driving.. paying $6k/yr for gas is INSANE!!!!

Anyone else thinking of downsizing??

i knew a mod on another forum who did just that. now sure if it was because of gas but he had a brand new 2011 when they first appeared. he installed 24 inch wheels and leds. looked real cool. but yeah he traded it in for something smaller.

i have been in suvs since 2006. had a 2006 armada then upped to the 2008 when they were born, now have the 2012.

i knew gas would be high. currently i have been paying about $160.0 every two weeks for petrol. i use 100 octane and mix it with 91 (to get about 96 octane). i already had the cost f petrol included in my maintenance of the car.

rough, what car did you have prior to the Q?

LOL Well, if I were stuck in Maryland, I would drive over to Virginia and buy gas.
Not trying to be Political but your Governor is wacko and the guy in the white house wants to cause you pain when you fill up and get you out of that Big SUV.
I will spend myself into ground first before I give in to them!

I will drive what I want to drive and I am not going to a ginger-bread car, that would be crushed in a wreak. He can forget that !

Had the small car, not going back. Need something with a real frame.

Hope you get to keep your QX. You should vote with your feet if you don't like gas prices in the state you are in. West Virginia gas prices are insane as compared to Virginia.

I had an Audi A8 prior to the QX... got about 21-22 overall city/hwy on Super. On the hwy though, I'd get 27-28... that was awesome for such a big car.

My QX gets about 15mpg combined city/hwy.

rough, that audi is a nice car. i can certainly see your frustration with the Q and gas mileage. two opposite ends of the block!

hang in there bro. you know you love the Q! i was one of the first people to joke and laugh at how ugly it was. i saw some leaked photos of the q back in late 2009 and i was like huh? but fell in love with it and ain't looking back.
