Gas Lid keeps opening

anyone else having issues with their gas lid popping open while driving. It was happening to me every 2-3 days. I told the dealer about it a month ago, looks like all they did was bend the latch slightly... well yesterday it popped open again.... arrrgg!!!

if your doors lock, the petrol door locks also. so is your door just not locking or do you keep your doors unlocked whilst driving?

the doors auto-lock when I drive.

when I notice the unlock gas door, I can see that the lid lock is in the "locked" position.. the darn door is just ajar.

perhaps the part that catches the petrol door once you close it is misaligned? perhaps he stealer did not do a good job of fixing it....

Isn't that door magnetically latched, when the doors are locked? You get in the QX and lock the doors and have someone touch the fuel(petrol) door and see if it opens when the doors are locked. If it opens tell that dealer the magnet isn't working.
I wonder if you had some kind dust or something you could put on the back side of the door and see if the latch part contacts the door?
I will go out and look at mine. we should be able to figure this out

Well dang. I thought for sure someone would have thrown in a jab by now about the fuel mileage and the gas door just reminding you to fill up or something along those lines.
Keep us posted. I haven't had any issues with mine but likewise I will go out and check to see what happens when doors auto lock.
