Hi, 2013 jx35. Looks like it needs a new starter and dealer wants $986 for that. Looks like other mechanics will do it for half of that.
Car has 91,000 miles on it. Needs some maintenance (fuel induction service) and probably has 5000 miles left on the tires.
would you sell it or fix it? I’ve already had some items break last year that cost me about $1500.
car max is telling me $13,400 to buy it. We have employee pricing for another model car that we like.
