Well, I've traded in my QX56 after the latest corrosion problems. I caution anyone that has had their QX in areas that spread salt in the winter or been under salt water to check the integrity of your suspension parts...

I replaced both of my rear lower control arms and promptly traded it off. To check yours, tap your arms with the ball end of a ball peen hammer and see if they dent easily. They could be rusting from the inside like mine did.

Yikes! What year model and how many miles on it? Where was the vehicle driven primarily?

It's a 2012 with 150,000 miles. It spent the first 60k in the Boston area being neglected and I have been fixing problems ever since. I think it must have been under water for Hurricane Sandy.
