Entertainment system remote.

Hello! I have a Middle East spec QX56, 2011 model.

I need a remote for the rear seat. Apparently the one that's there is not the right remote.

The parts guy at the dealer here in the US says there two different parts,

28298-1LA0A
Or
28298-3JA0B

Can anyone tell me which would be correct?

My. VIN is JNRAZ25Y2B9000679.

I contacted my local USA Infinity dealership .. as you stated you have a middle east model 2011 QX56. The VIN reflect that it is not a USA VIN number. Thus, the dealership (any USA dealership) would not be able to assist nor did they have any information of what you may need.

It seems logical the dealership where you are located would be able to assist with the purchase of a replacement remote .. it is also logical they would allow you to test it there at the dealership to ensure you have the correct model-part number.

The dealership overseas will not give me the necessary part number. However they are willing to order it at twice the price and with a two to 3 month wait. I find that ridiculous. But because they are the only dealership in the country, they feel like they can do what they want, sadly the entire market is like this...

I figured that I should be able to buy the remote elsewhere. They didn't have it in Japan, I just assumed that Infiniti was available in japan, wrong. Now I'm home in the US, but I can't get the part number, and here we stand.

Anyone else might be able to solve my conundrum?

ive seen the remote on ebay. check ebay in your country or the US ebay and find a dealer willing to ship to you.
