My car was burning oil and infiniti did a consumption test and found that it is burning oil. The issue is what is causing the burning of oil. They want to replace the engine but with one with 79,2000 miles on it when the car has 94,000 on it. Is there anyway I can get infiniti to put an engine with 60,000 in my car?

Burning engine oil can be associated with leaky valve covers, as well. This is an easy fix and to assess simply remove your spark plugs one by one and look for oil within the plug tube or surrounding area. Also the valve over gaskets are sensitive to high revving or hard accelerations while cold so take it easy until everything warms up.
