New to the board and glad to be here. I bought a 2010 QX56 and absolutely love it. It is my second Infiniti and the quality and features are great for the price. I do have a concern that I wanted to make sure I was not crazy about and thought you all may have comments.
My wife has a 2009 honda odyssey and it is almost effortless to turn the video on for the kids in the back while we listen to music on the front.
In the QX, I can't seem to find the best way to do it. From what I gather I need to be Moving (what?) and then I need to turn the rear video on and off several times as well as rear control to get the DVD to start showing audio and video and then I can switch back to the XM station we were listening to. Sometimes the kids get the XM station and sometimes they keep their video sound.
So I don't think I am stupid but I am open to it. This is our second Honda and it was so easy in both. The controls are different so I don't expect the exact same user experience but it should not be this far off.
Am I missing something? What steps do you take to make this painless?
