So recently got back from a long drive, almost the whole length of the UK in one day , 10.5 hours including 2 stops from my daughters in the highlands of Scotland to the south coast of England. The car didn't miss a beat all the way (565 miles) and it was like being sat in an armchair all day . Couldn't help thinking though, although the Mercedes 2.2. Diesel they put in the European Q70s is a good unit why wasn't it offered over here with the 5.6 litre petrol engine available in the US.It would have given some of the high powered Mercs and BMWs a run for their money over here.
