I noticed the light right above the headlight my light is out - anyone know how hard it is to replace and what bulb is required - 2011 QX

See attached image. should be W5W bulb.

I replaced all of these last year with LEDS, so you may as well go ahead and do so. :)

the bulbs are easy to take out. just pop the hood and look behind there. you do not have to remove the grill or combination housing to replace the lamps.

Martronixx, can you post pic of the headlights with LED's??? do you notice much of a differance in looks versus the normal light?

i absolutely notice a big difference.

the low beams are BI xenons but the eye brow lamp and the turn signals are filaments. the only thing you can change are the eye brow and turns. the side marker is a filament but you need to remove the wheel well finisher to get to that and that was beyond the scope of what i wanted to do.

the filaments are warm/brown tungsten looking--dull. i replaced with 56K LEDs and they look much more elegant on this high dollar car. the fog lamps are much improved as well in terms of looks AND effective brightness on the road.
