Brake Light Switch

Can someone advise me on the removal of the brake light switch on a 2001 I30? The brake lights are on all the time. I can see and feel the switch but how does it come out? Thanks

Fixed It!

The brake light switch pin presses up against a small rubber disc on the brake pedal. The disc broke and fell out. $11.00 part.
