Brake controller install

So as I was trying to figure out where to put my P3 controller, I saw the fuse cover near the left knee and thought that might be a good place to mount it. The cover is removable and I could get a second one to use when I'm not towing. The cover is on pretty good and you have to give it a good yank to get it off. I like the fact that I can remove the P3 panel and replace it with one and it looks new with no holes or mount. My only real question is if it is parallel enough to direction of travel.
Thoughts?

That's not too bad of a location sisu145. I was out looking today and it seems like a good place.
You putting anything on the rear suspension to help it?
What type hitch do you plan to use? My trailer is way below the 8500 trailer weight, loaded with junk and no water it tops out about 5900.
No problem for the truck but I guess the QX would be ok to pull it.
have a good one

Here is what I did. I used 3 washers to to bring out one side of the unit to make it more parallel. I picked up the trailer yesterday and drove it home about 47 miles. Pulled it like it wasn't even there. Take off from a stop was fast.
Very impressed with how stable it was. I will post additional pictures later today of the actual trailer and towing setup. I found a program to resize pictures that allows me to post them here now.:)
