Anyone know where to find a Blend door actuator or Mode door actuator in 2025? Looked it up seven ways from Sunday and couldn’t find a hit anywhere, not even eBay (for now)
I can understand why you're having trouble finding a blend door actuator for a 2025 Infiniti Q45.
That's a very common and frustrating problem when you're trying to fix a specific issue on a car. It's especially difficult when the part has a few different names or is no longer widely available. Since you've had no luck with the usual searches, here are a few other places to look and some strategies that might help you find the part you need.
First, you can try searching for the part using a different name. Some manufacturers call it a "blend door actuator," while others might call it a "mode door actuator," an "air mix motor," or a "temperature actuator." Using a more specific term might help you narrow down the search.
Second, if you can find the original part number on the actuator itself, searching for that number directly is often the most effective way to find a part, especially if it's been discontinued. You can usually find the part number on a sticker or embossed into the plastic housing of the part.
Third, look for specialized parts suppliers that focus on older vehicles. There are websites that specialize in parts for vehicles from the 90s and 2000s that may have the part you need in stock. They are often a better source than a general auto parts store that only carries parts for modern cars.
Finally, don't forget to check with a salvage yard. Many salvage yards have an inventory of parts, and they might have a vehicle with the exact actuator you need. It would be a used part, but it could be the only option if the part is no longer being manufactured.
A lot of the time, the problem with finding these parts isn't that they don't exist, but that they have a very specific name and aren't widely stocked. Once you get the right search term or part number, you might have better luck.
