Beeping like lights are on...

I have an 07 Q and when we turn the car off, it beeps like the lights are on until we shut the drivers door but they are clearly not on. The fog lights are off too. Any ideas?

thats normal.

if you have the key in the ignition, it will beep.

Thats the problem. The key is not in the ignition. We have owned this vehicle since day 1 and it has never done this.

Check to see that the 3rd row seats are either fully up, or fully down.

It beeps when they are fully up and if they are fully down. Right when I open the drivers side door it starts beeping. No other door. If the drivers side door is closed and I open another door, it doesn't beep.

Sounds like dealer needs to take a look.

See If putting the parking brake on eliminates the beep.
