We have owned this car for several years with no issues. In the last several months when the car is not driven for 5 or 6 days the battery is dead. We have replaced the battery, but the issue continues. We just had the dealer run diagnostics and they cannot find any thing causing this. Any thoughts?

2016 Q70. Same issue. First computer diagnostic turned up nothing. New battery kept dying. Used our own meter and discovered a 250 to 290 amp draw on the battery with everything turned off. Normal range should be 50 amps. So, we know there is something causing this, but apparently finding what it is challenges even the Infinity Dealer mechanics and their computer. We keep it hooked up to a trickle charger which addresses the problem for now. It is going back into the dealer, but it is a 6 week wait for an appointment. Our Infinity Dealer either needs to hire more mechanics or Infinity’s have a lot of problems.

We were having a problem with our 2017 Infiniti Q70 randomly draining our battery - dead dead, no lights, no clicking when starting - dead. Turns out if you leave your seat warmers / coolers on, it drains the battery. Looking up something else in the car manual we found under “Instruments and controls” on page 2-45 and 2-46 under “Climate Controlled Seats” number 4 states “When the vehicles interior is warmed and/or cooled before you leave the vehicle be sure to turn the control knob to the OFF position (center). On page 2-46 under “! CAUTION” the first bullet item says “The battery could run down if the climate controlled seat is operated while the engine is not running.”

Same issue. Saw this post. I found the seat warmer in the on position. Shut off. Will report if this works. I hope so. It's been a long frustrating problem
Any follow up on this topic above? Our 2015 Q70L has the same intermittent starting issue after a few days, fresh battery, which I assume will be a parasitic draw. I am running a multi-meter test this weekend. Let me know if you had any other electronics crop up as the source of your respective battery draws; or whether the seat heater/cooler turned off fixed the issue. thanks.

I have a 2017 Q70. I learned in the Summer of 2017 what caused my battery to go dead when not driven for 2 or more days. My key FOB was on a hook just inside my mud room door from garage.. The key FOB was maybe 5 linear feet from the car doors. Just opening the door from garage into the house mud room made the door handle lights go on. This was happening in and out of the house to garage and I'd not realized it. I now have the KEY FOB on a hook just a few feet further into the house from the garage. NO problems since.

Rear seat heater was in the on position on my vehicle. Didn’t notice it at first because I am rarely in the rear seat. Turned it to the off position. Fixed the drain and now the car maintains a charge.

Well I noticed this issue happening to mine all of a sudden and did find one of my seat heaters on, so maybe that’s it…
Having this battery drain issue as well on my 2015 Q70. I think the car has some kind of electronics issue because other stuff acts weird: interior lights flash on and off when opening door after shutting down engine; seat won't move back/steering wheel won't raise when exiting car unless I open/close the driver's door a couple of times (I have the seat memory set to do that to make getting in/out easier); interior overhead light is very dim if it evens comes on when opening car doors, etc. Came home today from a 10-day trip and car battery was totally dead. Car had been in garage the entire time, so even though it was cold outside, temps probably never got below 50. The one thing I did differently was lock the car before I left; never have done that before...not sure why I did it this time. Anyway, SIL said that that arms the alarm system in the car and that's probably what drained the battery. And yes, it is a fairly fresh battery and this is the car I normally drive all the time, so the battery was probably pretty charged up when I left town. Will also check seat warmers/coolers and other on/off systems from now on before exiting the car, as many of you have recommended. Thanks for the many comments on that! Now, does anyone know if a battery trickle charger made for a different make/model of car will work on these Infinitis? Lol! (I have one for my other car, but it's a totally different brand...)
