Automatic Windshield Wipers M35s

Automatic wipers come on whenever they feel like it. It can be clear and a million, but they still come on once and a while for no reason. I took it to the dealer and they said a bulletin from Infinity states they are aware of this and there is no fix.

How can this be? They put equipment on a car, sold it and it doesn’t function properly…

Anyone else hear this?

Irrespective of whether they work correctly or not, you should not leave them on intermittent. When on intermittent and you start the car, the blade takes one pass over the windshield...and if it's not raining, that's dry so it rubs grit against the windshield which can scratch it or, over time, cloud the window. So leave the wipers on off...and if it starts to rain, then you can use intermittent.
