So far, my dealer is the only one I can find who can get a set other then Tire Rack.

I ordered my 28" pirelli tires from Tire Rack and had them delivered to the local custom wheel and tire shop where I live. Plan to do the same once spring gets here. This will be the last winter for the OEM Bridgestones.

Pirelli makes a nice 22" Scorpion Asymetrico I'm looking at putting on my QX56.

Thanks for the feedback. I finally got the dealer to match Costco pricing, so I'll grab their last set.

I don't have anything against Tire Rack, but their prices were as high as the dealer.

I went with alternate sizing on the tires and ended up ordering these: http://www.tirebuyer.com/tires/nexen/roadian-hp-suv/p/tv181000057

Slightly wider, same diamter. Great reviews, actually have a tread wear warranty as well as a road hazard warranty directly from Nexen. Had them on the beast for 2 months, and so far, I'm really impressed. Quiet, great road manners, better wet traction than the stocks. So far so good....

Hmmm... 147 for these or 246 for the Scorpions....almost a no brainer. Please keep us updated on your impression of these Nexen. I have 3 more months on the Blizzaks and am looking for new tires when I switch back to "summer" tires.

Like a glove. Like I said, I haven't seen any snow with them yet, but they've definitely impressed us when compared to the stock tires that they replaced.

Finally got a chance to put some snow miles on these tires, and I'm even happier than I was when I first found them. Great tires. I highly recommend them, especially if you're replacing the factory bridgestones.

Good luck with the Nexens because you will be getting what you pay for. Poor ride quality and within less than 5 months the sidewalks will begin showing weather cracks due to poor molding lines. Nexens, Diablos, Lexanis and a couple more are all made by the same Chinese manufacturer.

My Pirelli Scorpions All Season Plus tires have a much better ride quality due to softer sidewall compounds. In addition to factory sipen on the tread makes the handle well in rain and snow. Best of all the beast doesn't ride like a lumber wagon like it did with the Bridgestones. Plus I'm more inclined to believe due to my other Scorpion Zeros show no sidewall cracks on my 28" wheels like my cheap Nexen tires did within 5 months of having them on my car.

Dang! where were you about 2 months ago with this info? lol. So far the ride quality has been fine and the sidewall stiffness is gone since I lowered the tire pressure.
I will keep an eye out on the sidewalls for any cracks as I tow a large trailer with the beast.
Appreciate the info and your experience with these tires.

Agreed! Last September, my wife was ready to get rid of QX because she didn't like the ride quality of the 22's on Bridgestone Duellers!! Searching for the solution, I pulled the trigger on the Pirelli Scorpions. That turned out to be the missing ingredient. The QX.... aka "Sumo", now rides like the luxury vehicle it is supposed to. However, it seems there was a hit to the economy. I'm investigating the Bully Dog Tuner for that... but that's the subject of another thread. Try the Pirelli Scorpions!

i've had the pirellis for awhile now, and aside from being terrible in the snow, they're good tires. i'm not sure they are much worse in the snow than the OEM tires however. That's what snow tires are for anyway so i don't really mind. they seem slightly quieter than the original tires but when i buy again i will probably do it based on cost, because they don't seem that different to me.
