I've run across a very good deal ($15k, 45k miles) on 2008 G35X w/ Premium Package but have concerns about it being in a rain storm in October 2012, accumulating approximately 4-5" of water inside. The dealer selling it has replaced the front power seats and carpeting and says it looks and runs like new.

Because I don't know much about Infiniti's, I was hoping some knowledgeable folks here could provide some opinions on whether or not to consider purchasing a car that has this kind of damage.

My gut tells me to avoid, but my head tells me that if there was a major problem it should have presented itself by now (4-5 months later)

Thanks!

Avoid like the plague

Just spend $1500 more and get my 2008 G35X with 76,000 miles. Absolutely loaded with new tires all around. Every possible option is on this car. The only thing I have done is added chrome pillar covers. They look so much better than the factory black. This car also has a clean Carfax and I am the second owner. The ad is listed below. Good luck
