I recently bought this 2014 Q70 which has about 145,000km / 90k miles. Its a car from the north eastern part of Canada. Ontario / Quebec. I had asked the dealership to let me know how bad the rust was underneath an they said "not bad at all". My mechanic says otherwise. Its pretty covered but I'm wondering if its worth worrying about or not? I recently sold my 2016 QX50 with double the miles and it had almost no rust underneath. So I'm wondering if I should go after the dealer or not for not disclosing the rust issues.
Also they put a brand new infiniti battery in the car and the car died within a week. No start. Not even with a boost. Not even accessory mode. So I'm guessing its an alternator issue as I swapped their new battery with my old 2016 OEM QX50 battery and the car fired right up. I guess I need to get the alternator tested or buy a battery tester to see what happens when I cold start it.
