Just got a 2012 QX56 and noticed that the seatbelt light stays on. When I looked around, it looks like it might be a loose plug under the driver's seat. The problem is, I don't know the best way to get to those plugs! There's a hard plastic guard in the front and a fabric drape in the back that's hooked in with an elastic cord. Any ideas on how to get access to those plugs?

Thanks!

Those plugs can be access through the front, but before you go doing that let me offer another solution. I had a similar problem with my seat belt, I took it to the dealer where they diagnosis that I had a bad BCM (Body Control Module). This is covered under warranty so check with the dealer first before you do anything. The BCM is located behind the gauge cluster, real easy to get to. If it is the BCM the dealer will probably have to keep your car over night, they don't usually stock that part.
