2012 QX56 Off Road Build(Desert Patrol)

Is this a far fetched notion? Or, is it possible to build a 2012 INFINITI QX56 into a North American off-road beast(Desert Patrol). Is there someone in Phoenix, Arizona that can advise and (build parts) on such a build? I see Dash Off Road in Australia, but should I try to be the guy with a desert southwest build? Is that something anyone else can envision?

If I start from the ground up, then my first question would be about tires, wheels, and fender flares. What would be the optimum tire size for the Sonoran Desert?

Can a stock 22” rim accept a 33X12.5R22 tire with a 2” Lift Kit?


YES…my assessment is right and exact notwithstanding no one’s interested, but someone might appreciate this progress. 2” Lift Kit, and the BDS spacers 2” out was perfect to maximize the off road capabilities of the QX56. DONE! Pic upon request…

Well, heck .. I'm interested! I've lifted my FJ Cruiser and had a lifter Tundra and Hummer H2 because I actually go off road. I recently bought a 2017 QX80 with plans to lift it and outfit it with some knobbies. I'd love to see pics of your QX56 man!
