2012 QX56 buying question

1st time poster but frequent lurker.
Found a 2012 QX56 with 14,500 miles with the touring package for 42,500.00.
Sounds great......but... flood title.
Guy says his wife drives it and has no problems with it. Pictures look good.
Should I run as my gut is telling me to do or do I take a look and take a chance?
I'm assuming all warranty is gone and any repairs would be on me. Is the vehicle even able to be titled?
Thoughts?

'Flood vehicle' ! Run ! Run away very fast. :eek:
Water gets in those connectors, corrosion occurs and in a couple years all kinds of 'grimlims' show up.
Unless you like working on those type issues?
I couldn't do it, too much technology in the QX to introduce a variable like water.
You will find a good low mileage QX, only driven on Sunday's to church and Blue Ridge Parkway in the summer, never in snow or salt :D
Oh, that sounds like mine, LOL (10,734 actual miles)
Keep looking, they are out there.:)

I can't believe u even considered that!!!! If they were selling it for $15k, maybe...but at near full retail... keep walking without regret.
 
I have walked even though he has dropped the price to 35. I will wait for the right time.
Thanks for confirming my gut feeling.
